Bought this power inverter at Best Buy to use on a long car trip. I needed to be on my laptop and the guy who sold it to me at Best Buy assured me that this power inverter would work great and keep my laptop on while driving in the car. Well it did… for about 5 minutes… then my laptop screen went dark and thought oh i guess it came unplugged. Well it turns out that the darn thing was shorting out and it filled my car with smoke while we were traveling at 80mph on the highway and couldn’t see. We quickly sped off to the side of the road to open the doors and air it out. The thing shorted out my power adapter and it was useless. I had to hold it out the window for about 10 minutes until it stopped smoking. To make a long story short, do not buy this piece of crap because it is dangerous to use. Thankfully I was able to return it no questions asked and got my $30 back.
